In order to improve one’s life, it is important to focus on their mental health, on top of their career, and physical wellbeing. It is suggested that, as people get older, they stay connected to their friends and family. This is due to loneliness being considered harmful to a person’s health. Seniors that deal with loneliness on a frequent basis are more likely to suffer from dementia or depression. In addition, seniors suffering from such loneliness reportedly have more difficulty with performing everyday tasks, like bathing, and climbing stairs. It is also crucial to remain optimistic as a person gets older. Viewing circumstances on the brighter side can help elders by providing a number of physical benefits like lowering stress, suffering fewer heart attacks, and aiding with depression.
